Stone Refinishing, Restoration & Maintenance

As with the different metal finishes used in architecture over the past decade, the stone specified for renovation and new buildings follows the Neo-Modernistic trend in architecture. Architects, rejecting classical ornamentation, now specify unpolished marble and granite for use on lobby and elevator floors.

Although this has drastically reduced maintenance costs, it does not mean the elimination of stone care. The wear and tear of heavily trafficked floors creates wear patterns, and must be abraded to remove the scratches that foot traffic creates. We recommend cleaning and abrading on a semi-annual basis, depending on the stone.

Additionally, existing polished surfaces can be refinished to the matte finish, that unfinished look that is now in vogue. Please contact us for any questions on the care and maintenance of stone. Our 40+ years of experience maintaining and refinishing stone is unparalleled in the markets we service.

Experience

We boast the most experienced workforce in the Southeast. Our metal foreman all have at least 15 years of metal refinishing behind them, and none of our current apprentices have less than two years experience.

Quality Performance

Providing maintenance services is much more than cleaning and lacquering metal on a periodic basis. It involves providing schedules that outline the work to be performed, scheduling work in a manner that does not disturb tenants or lead to late night phone calls, thoroughly cleaning the work area after refinishing, and following up with quality control inspections.

Competitive Pricing
